Tenor Sax musician Jake Steins took home the Outstanding Musician Scholarship from Friends of Jazz after the Servite Jazz Band performed at Steamers on Saturday, April 25th. The band performed before a crowd of family and friends in an authentic jazz club environment. Steins was awarded a cash scholarship for his performance on the day. In addition, Friends of Jazz presented a monetary award to the Servite Band, a tradition for all high schools participating in the Steamers High School Band Showcase.
