Katella High School’s jazz band hit the stage at Florentine’s Bar and Grill on Saturday to perform for a nice crowd of family and friends. The band is now under the direction of Dylan Harlan, son of Jim Harlan, a longtime Friends of Jazz board member. This was surely a proud day for Jim. Congratulations are in order for Maricel Bacani who was recognized for her superior performance and received a monetary award from Friends of Jazz. (Photos by Donna Harlan).
