One of the most rewarding programs sponsored by Friends of Jazz is the Fourth Grade recorder program offered to elementary schools throughout Fullerton. FOJ instructors work with the students for 10 weeks, after providing them a free recorder and song book. Each session culminates with a concert for family and friends. The program runs each semester and is paid for through the generosity of FOJ and their supporters. Have a look at one of the most recent end of year concerts held this December at Sunset Lane Elementary School. Jennifer Hart directs the students.
